Privacy Policy

This policy explains how The Bristol Group handles information in connection with this website, business inquiries, and service communications.

Effective August 22, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to The Bristol Group website and to information handled for Bristol Roadside, Bristol Dogs, and Bristol Junk when those businesses use The Bristol Group's shared systems or communications. A particular service interaction may include additional notices when appropriate.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, and preferred contact method.
  • Information included in a business or service inquiry.
  • Details needed to respond to or coordinate a requested service.
  • Records of communications you exchange with a Bristol business.

Our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs, as part of operating and protecting the website.

3. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The hosting platform may use technically necessary storage or logs to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. If our practices change, this policy will be updated before we describe or use additional tracking.

4. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about requested services.

5. Mobile information and SMS consent

When you provide a mobile number and authorize text messaging, we use that information for the communication purpose connected to your consent or request. Depending on the interaction, messages may concern inquiries, service coordination, scheduling, or status updates. Message frequency varies by interaction. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Communications providers and other service providers may process mobile information only as necessary to transmit, support, secure, or administer the communications and our operations. This limited processing does not permit those providers to use mobile opt-in information for their own marketing.

For additional information about text messaging, including opt-out and help instructions, see our SMS Messaging Information and SMS / Text Messaging Terms.

6. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information in limited circumstances:

  • To vendors that provide hosting, communications, security, or other operational support under appropriate restrictions.
  • When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request.
  • To protect the rights, safety, security, or property of The Bristol Group, our businesses, customers, or others.
  • As part of a legitimate business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable law and protections for the information involved.

The mobile-information restrictions in Section 5 continue to apply.

7. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business records, to resolve disputes, and to meet legal or security obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the related interaction.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Your choices

You may choose not to provide optional information, although doing so may limit our ability to respond to a request. You may opt out of an applicable text-messaging stream by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance where supported. You may also make a privacy request through the same Bristol business contact channel used for your inquiry or service interaction.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice when required.

11. Contact

Questions or requests about this policy may be directed through the same published contact channel you used with Bristol Roadside, Bristol Dogs, Bristol Junk, or The Bristol Group.
