SMS messaging

Clear expectations.
Wanted messages.

This page explains how The Bristol Group and its businesses approach legitimate text-message communications.

01 / Consent

Messages follow a real interaction.

Texts are sent only where the recipient has directly requested a response or provided consent appropriate to the communication. An inbound text permits a direct response to that conversation, but does not by itself authorize unrelated or ongoing promotional messages.

02 / Content

Business-related communication.

Messages may concern an inquiry, service coordination, scheduling, status updates, or another legitimate communication tied to the recipient's interaction with a Bristol business.

03 / Frequency & rates

Frequency varies by interaction.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase where prohibited by law.

04 / Choices

STOP means stop.

Reply STOP to opt out of an applicable messaging stream. Reply HELP for assistance where supported. A single confirmation may follow an opt-out; no further messages in that stream will be sent unless appropriate consent is provided again.

05 / Privacy

Mobile consent is not for sale.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process the information only as necessary to facilitate or support the communications.
